Three Star Hotel Four Star Oxtail Soup - Aston Hotel Cengkareng

A ritual you may say, wherever possible I will try out the Sup Buntut (Oxtail Soup). The quality or lack of, points me to how ambitious they want to be in this service-oriented business. Besides, I have tasted so many Sup Buntut that I can tell what's good and not good from food presentation to taste.

Food was well-presented and prepared in stainless pot with matching food warmer. The meat was properly cut and none was missing. All were in its place. The soup replete with subtle spices none overwhelming the other.

The rice with the fried shallots, accompanying salad and green sambel. A heart-warming dish from the warmth welcome of the hotelier who is serious in the hospitality sector.
