Chicken Varuval from Indobase - Homecooking

1 kg chicken breast
4 red onions
4 dry chilies deserved. Add more for a spicier Varuval
2 sprigs curry leaves. I prefer more leaves 
4 tsp chili powder 
4 tsp coriander powder 
4 tsp black pepper powder. Used quality peppers or Varuval will taste limp
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
2 tsp ginger garlic paste. I used 2 inches of finely chopped fresh ginger 
Peanut oil
Salt to taste

Heat oil in wok
Fry dry chili, cumin seeds and curry leaves till fragrant 
Add chopped onions and ginger garlic paste and fried till onions is brown
Reduce to medium heat
Add chicken and the rest of the spices and fry till chicken is cooked
