Soon Soon Pan Mee and Fish Head - Damansara Perdana, PJ
It was just another run of the mill languid Sunday afternoon. Nobody wanted to make decision on where to eat! With comfort food everywhere it can be a boring and rutted existence. Water flows into the paths of least resistance. Soon Soon delivers good Pan Mee, Fish Head MeeHoon, Yee Wat and Fuzhou Fishballs.
Starters with Yee Wat and Fuzhou Fishballs - Top quality fish paste was used and without boric acid rendering it sticky and more elastic. The fillings for the fishballs were good.
Fish Head Meehoon lack the zing (like it a bit more sour) but still a decent and good lunch. Lapped up the soup. Creamy and starchy with yam and beans contributing body to the soup.
Another comfort food. Hurray! Always not far away. Good standard. Satiated and cravings gone!
The accompanying bowl of Bayam vegetable soup with the dry noodles.
