Vietnamese Banh Mi Cafe - Jalan Kenari, Bandar Puchong Jaya

Vietnamese Restaurant
Banh Mi Cafe Bandar Puchong Jaya

We couldn't have enough of the Vietnamese food and went to another of their branch in Jalan Kenari, Puchong Jaya. The other one we had lunch (last post) was in Bandar Puteri, Puchong. We had their Banh Xeo (pancake with beansprouts, mung beans and also minced pork). Taste was subtle goodness. Nothing fried to crisp with strong sauces, just some great food flavours to titillate our palates.

The spring roll was Vietnamese and instead of prawn we got pork. Also another favourite. The rice paper was perfect, held the food within well but soft and elastic to stretch and give way when eaten and chewed.

We also ordered a family favourite in Malaysia and Thailand, ie stuffed bitter gourd. The stuffing were basically meat and mixed in were other components to make it savoury and eaten with the soft and spongy bitter gourd. It was a good match. Good for those who learn for a good soup!

The Western-style salad was also refreshing with kampung chicken. One of my favourite dish when you can get this type of food in a Chinese, Malay or Thai restaurant. Very good healthy and value for money meal.
