Choy Kee Curry Laksa - SS19 Subang Jaya

My friend took us to this little gem in SS19. Just in front of SJKC Lick Hung. The Curry Laksa is very similar to those in Ipoh. Strong on the rempah (spices) side and low in santan (coconut milk). Savoury rather than sweet and laden with extra cockles, what a treat. Get extra meat from the roasts stall and other sides.

There was an extra bonus. They allow me to add extra cockles toppings. Much appreciated as this lovely half-coooked molluscs are a treat and it's no longer so well received by the younger generation who finds its rawness not palatable and also the health issues involved with unhygienic farming. Lovely lunch
