GroupBase Restaurant Bdr Sri Damansara - Most Popular and Value for Money
This halal restaurant has been serving the residents of Bandar Sri Damansara for 18 years. I have on numerous occasions patronise this restaurant with family and friends. Its clientele is multi-racial. It serves famous hawkers' food, kuih-muih, Chinese Tai-chow, Western and Malay cuisine. Its concept is a mixed between a kopitiam and a mid-level fine-dining. It has coffee-house ambiance, great service system and some detail attention to dinnerware.
The crowd can be overwhelming during dinner times and any food ordered ala carte will take some time to arrive. So far there is not one eatery that can rival it in business volume. I believe it outdo its closest rival by at least 3 times.
What are the reasons for pulling in the crowd:
1. Value for money and food comes in really big portions
2. Great ordering and delivering system
3. Reasonably well-trained and experience staff
4. Food stayed above average and having some great signature dishes to continue to please
4. Extensive menu for multi-racial crowd
5. Lack of really good eateries in Sri Damansara
The coming Ramadan, their Buka Puasa business will again be a great success for this restaurant. Could hardly be-grudge them for their roaring sales and hope they will continue to serve the residents here for years to come.

Sate here esp the beef is one of the best I have had. Tender and from the better cuts. Marinated to perfection. Beef @ RM1.10 and Chicken @ RM0.70 per stick.
Generous amount of sate dipping sauce (3 bowls to be exact!)

Lots of great prawns, pan-fried first for the a great prawny taste then the asparagus were added and stir-fried. A tad too much of corn starch and oyster sauce.
