Moment of Madness - Ronaldo
World famous and talented Brazilian footballer Ronaldo got into an altercation with transvestites in Rio de Janeiro yesterday. It involves accusations of extortion and drugs. He was back in Brazil recuperating from a career threatening injury sustained in February '08. He is expected to play again in October '08. It is a long road to fitness and getting ready to fight for a place in the first 11 in A.C. Milan team. At 32 years of age time is running out for him to continue playing at such high level.
In an AP report, it quoted the police inspector in charge of the case as saying, "He (Ronaldo) admitted to everything, he wanted to have fun, but he committed no crime at all, it was immoral at best."
The results of enforced idleness can wreak havoc to a person well-being. This goes to say that one should be gainfully "employed" esp. in our minds and bodies to avoid giving opportunities to that "one moment of madness" to surface.
