Sriwijaya Air
Tuesday, 8th July
I have flown Sriwijaya Air at least 6 times. Their planes are old (20 years or so) but they have certification from Boeing on maintenance co-operation. So far no air crash as yet. Despite Indonesia's poor air safety record, there is a growing market for air travel. The vast archipelago needs to be connected. Fostering social and business ties creates a bludgeoning business.
For the short hop from Jakarta to Solo a breakfat box was given. Neat for a LCC.
