Mie Ongklong - Wonosobo, Indonesia
Wednesday, 9th July
It took us 2 hours to get to Wonosobo. It is a local tourist destination. The weather is balmy and the town is neat and organized.
It's time for lunch. We have the local favorite Mie Ongklong (like local Law meen). It is eaten plain or with pounded cabe (chilli) - translated very spicy and hot.
Besides the usual tauhu bakar, tempe and fried chicken, were were served with local kuih (soong ko) of Chinese origin.
