Musang King Durians - Bentong
We were kind of disappointed at the 2 stalls outside the Bentong wet market (last 3 pictures). So we wandered off the well-travelled path to search and try our luck on our way back to KL. We drove along the old road and chanced upon a roadside stall just outside Bentong town.
Its MSKs were going like RM18/kg small, RM28/kg and RM38/kg for medium and large respectively. All the fruits were from the same plantation. Tried the smallest size ones at RM18/kg and it tasted super. We almost bought the entire "bakul".
They were very good. Sticky, bright yellow colour and creased up, bitter and sweet all the characteristics I wanted of a good MSK. Lady luck was smiling on us.
