Best Mixed Rice (Chap Fan) - Happy Cafe, Penang

This is one of the best Penang Chap Fan. Reasonable price, fresh and choice ingredients and that's just part of it. The other part I like most would be they have the freshest seafood available from the market.

I asas told from a regular that the owner is very fussy about fresh and quality ingredients. Check out these humble good done in some very pleasing ways. Mom would have approved. Deep-fried Gelama that just came in today, the Steamed White Pomfret, Red Snapper and Sotong in Gulai from last night.

The ladies fingers are superb, drenched in lime juice, infused with Bunga Kansas fragrance, bird's eye chili, spring onions and the like. Each bite into it yields a mix if explosive flavors. Eating is believing.
