TropiKiRi, Taman Bukit Mayang Emas, PJ

Lately, one of my go-to places, in moments of food indecisiveness, will be here. It's not too near that we get bore of being there too often or too far that reaching there is a chore. When the question was asked, "What to eat ah?", we make the no need to overthink obvious selection.

Tropickiri has quality stalls and caters to our whims. Our favourites so far were the Hokkien Mee, Char Koay Teow, Cury Laksa, Pan Mee and the Nyonya Kuih.

These were what we had last round. The curry Laksa has the santan, dense enough soup, fragrant herbs and spices plus the pork rind. Surprisingly, they do have an additional topping, the fish paste, which is fish and has the springiness and some porosity so that it will absorb the gravy to enhance its taste.

The other right choice would be the Hokkien Mee. We enjoy the big portion, a good amount of prawns and the overall prawny umami and that unmistakable smell that will even make salivate just thinking of it.

My wife order pan Mee and not ordering the stronger tasting and smelling food testified of this well presented and tasty 'mild' bowl. There is nothing weak when the anchovy soup is robust and the smell can be overwhelming when well done.

If you lived nearby, this is a good eat. Go try some of their offerings.
