We started with the famous Wantan Noodles. Thin, al dente, yellow noodles, tasty sauces were used, which was part of preparing the dry noodles. You can also go for soupy noodles with some great broth.

I suggest getting the dry noodles as you will be getting two Wantan in a bowl of soup. Best of both worlds. As for the BBQ Pork insist on half fat and half lean pork. They specialise in this and the taste was out of this world.

Too early for a sweet dessert. Never mind as the stall is 10m away. Drink it up. Sweet Mata Kucing esp when the weather is hot.

Another dessert but for this stall I will go for hot soya bean curd (Tau Foo Far). Blow hot blow cold. It has to be hot unless it's soya bean milk drink with ice. Go for Gula Melaka for the natural taste.

This is serious eat. I go for a mixed bowl of raw meat, brisket, beef balls, tripe and tendon. The toppings were generous and the dish was value for money. The soup was not dense broth. So not overwhelming. Very Cantonese. A lovely bowl of Beef Noodles.

Not satisfied we wondered off to an Indian eatery. Nominated on numerous occasions at Timeout. Again a light eats, on taste and the wallet. Not greasy, overly spicy and overpowering taste and smell. Just the way I like it. I hope the owner keeps it that way.

The Mutton Curry and Keema were bright and cheery. The other accompanying curries augmenting the bland chapati. Chapati was a bit too hard and dry for me. I prefer it to be under cook so that it remains soft to the bite. The drink was so so.

Finally we after all the exertions we adjourned to a Cafe. Aircon was to the max. We cooled down almost immediately. Relaxed, hip and ready for the hop inside. There is a corner that panders to each idiosyncrasies. Pleasant atmosphere.

I ordered a local black coffee. Taste exactly like what I got in grandma's village house. Acidic, black and thick. Cafe duitable for a quick bite and putting the cellular away for some decent chats.
