Once in a while you get the best of the best seafood. Ironically, it was recommended by the 'captain.' When the captain recommends a dish, one need to hear it with a healthy dose of skepticism. Reason is, recommendations maybe an occasion to get rid of raw materials that may be expiring or for new stock to come in. But not so here, we heard with the heart and took it to heart. Viola, we got the freshest and the most succulent lala that we have ever eaten.
Check out the meat. It was thick and smooth. Biting into them and feeling the texture confirmed they were of the highest quality.
Another great dish was the pork roast knuckle, Chinese style. As with most pork knuckles served in Western or Chinese restaurants, it was prepared beforehand and reheated in the oven or over oil.
And our regular dish. Crabs - styled according to our moods and fancies on that night. Seafood here is fresh!
